Consultation
The KDLA design process starts with an initial consultation. This involves us coming to site, walking through the space, and brainstorming design solutions that meet your design brief, site constraints, anticipated budget, style and lifestyle. Office consultations can also be accommodated if you are early in your building process. Formal design fees will be quoted following this consultation stage.
Concept Design Stage
We will utilise the insight gained at the initial consultation to create a comprehensive project masterplan and accompanying 3D renders. Our designs are thoughtful, and we ensure each space has received the attention required to achieve the best outcome.
Detail Design Stage
Once the concept is finalised, we will compile a detailed set of documentation that outlines every aspect of the design. From materials to planting and construction details, we ensure all the elements are accounted for before site preparation commences.
Council Approvals
If there are elements the project that require planning or council approvals, we can organise this on your behalf. KDLA can provide the relevant drawings, liaise with engineers and required consultants, and submit your applications.
Construction
We offer flexibility of ‘design only’ only, providing materials and detailed designs to supply to your elected landscape team. Alternatively, we can arrange for the project to be quoted and installed by one of our allied landscape teams.
